“Tiger Blood” once again takes a hook from another 2011 internet hound backed up with a bouncing, driving groove from the LC’s. There’s an extremely tasty remix on this one from Digital resident and friend of CR2. Hed Kandi and more Felix Leiter too!

“Out of Control” is the first single to be released by Mike Delinquent Project since he signed to Champion Records in September 2011, and the track is set to do big things, already causing a big stir in the clubs and on radio.

Mike teams up with KCAT (“My Destiny”) to deliver the garage smash of the year, “Out Of Control”. Donae’o heard the track and simply had to throw down his own verse.

The song has already received fantastic support on radio where it’s currently playlisted on Kiss, and on the A-List on 1Xtra. Radio 1, Choice FM and Capital Radio have also been backing the song, with the likes of MistaJam, Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, DJ Target, DJ Cameo, DJ Q, DJ EZ, and Sacha Brooks, to name a few, championing the record. It has so far been ‘Jam Hot‘, ‘Best of British’ and ‘Shut Up & Listen’ track of the week on 1xtra, as well as being A-Listed on Manchester’s Unity Radio.

“Out Of Control” was also used as the official sound bed for ‘1xtra in Majorca’, a campaign featured heavily on Radio 1 shows such as Chris Moyles’ Breakfast Show and Scott Mills’ Drive Time Show. This was definitely the summer anthem across all the party islands.

Even Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand couldn’t help but talk about the record, tweeting on a Friday morning about “Out Of Control” being his “Track of the Day”. A great feat for Mike Delinquent, even if he is a dedicated Arsenal fan!

It’s definitely exciting times for both Mike Delinquent Project and KCAT. Mike has recently signed an album deal with Champion Records as well as working with KCAT on her solo project. This is very much the start of great things to come from this talented young Musician from London.

Seconds out! Round 3! The third instalment of our Battle Of The Remixers series comes in the form of a lost gem from our archive – Champagne’s ‘My Love Is Right’, which was a huge hit in Europe especially.

Featuring the vocal talents of Shana Douglas, ‘My Love Is Right’ is pure late-eighties pop funk, and ripe for a 2011 rework!

The Sharp Boys have been in the business for years, and even have a history of working with us deep in our back catalogue. We knew they would pull off the perfect mix of this piano / vocal classic, and they did not disappoint. Their remix takes the track into skankin’, bouncy tech-house territory, the sort of tune that would not be out of place in a Fatboy Slim set. We loved it so much we had to include it on our recent Ibiza 2011 compilation!

Calvertron returns for another bout, taking a break from his recent journey into dubstep to deliver a knockout blow with an energy-packed dirty electro-fidget remix. We’re big fans of Calvertron at Champion towers, and we love what he’s done here!
